Dear Colleagues

It is my great pleasure to extend to all of you and to
our French colleagues a warm invitation to
participate in our 21^st annual meeting.
This meeting has been dedicated to the promotion
of ties and scientific exchange between French and
Israeli surgeons. Prof. Claude Argenson, the
President of the SO.F.C.O.T. will attend with a
delegation of French speakers.
The meeting will be held at the newly built and
modern "David Intercontinental" hotel on the
Tel-Aviv seashore, December 4-5, 2001.

We have selected 3 clinical scientific topics of
common interest, plenary lectures by eminent
French and Israeli speakers, and sessions for free
papers in different fields.

I am personally looking foreword to seeing you in
Tel-Aviv and hope you will have the opportunity to
combine the attendance at our congress with a
chance to experience the historic and cultural
sights of our country. Briefly, as we say in French -
"joindre l'utile à l'ageable".

An interesting social program has been planned as
well as post-congress excursions to interesting
locations.
